According to details England’s Captain Andrew Strauss won the toss and elected to bat first. English team goes early in trouble by losing the early wickets of the captain (0) and Kevin Pietersen (2). Soon after Ian Bell also went back to pavilion after adding his 5 runs to his side’s total. Trio wickets were taken by Robin Peterson. After losing the wickets of three key batsmen on just 15, Jonathan Trott and Ravinder Bopara took responsibility on their shoulders and both players played very slow cricket but added 99 runs in the fourth wicket partnership.
